Brick by brick

Our Grade 3s studied their phonics by using Lego blocks to ‘build’ Afrikaans words.

In stitches

Our Kusasa-kids were introduced to crocheting and fell in love with the process! Crocheting and needlework is a great way to develop fine motor skills. It also enhances concentration and patience.

Team work makes the dream work!

The Grade 2s worked together and painted a beautiful mural comprising different sea creatures for Ocean Week.

Fun with colours and shells

Our preschoolers joined our Ocean Week theme and had a great time counting and painting their own shells.

Fresh ideas with recycled materials

By now, our Grade 1s are experts in creating beautiful art projects using recycled materials.

Go Fish!

What a fun activity! The preschoolers had a great time playing with these fish toys to better their concentration and fine motor skills.

Just our ‘cluck’!

In line with our farm animals theme, we learned all about chickens!

B(r)aaah-vo to our Grade 4s

Our Grade 4s made edible sweet sheep treats in line with farm animal theme week!

Getting perspective

The preschoolers learned about 2D and 3D. We used technology and teamwork to identify and capture 2D and 3D objects.

Money matters

Our Grade 1s learned about the value of money and the importance of spending it responsibly.

Show and tell: Africa Edition!

Our Grade 4s presented their show and tell about the Big 5 in Natural Science.

Wild times

Our Grade 2s worked in groups to create a habitat diorama for wild animals using recyclable materials.

Sweet as a plum

Our Grade 4 class went on an outing to a nearby plum farm. Teacher Carina’s father, fondly known as Oupa Farmer, was kind enough to give tractor rides and teach us everything he knows about plum farming.

A sneak peak

The Grade 1s had a great time ‘bird watching’ with binoculars they made themselves.

Birds of a feather…

Our preschoolers loved bird theme, so we painted with feathers!
